WE DID IT!!! We survived the 2 days of testing and did it with a lot of positive, hard-working strategies. Thank you again to all of you for helping prepare your child for Math and Reading STAAR. With our team-work, I know that your child gave their ALL and did the best they could each day. I am very proud of them and know they will continue to work hard and take pride in everything they do!
We ended our week with some relaxation and fun and will be ready next week to get back to a normal schedule with lots of preparation for the upcoming end of their 3rd grade year and onward to 4th grade.
Here are some things coming up:
- BABY Picture- please remember to send a baby picture of your child in an envelope for a science activity we will do on Tuesday, May 17th
- We will go to the Book Fair on Tuesday @ 10:30. If your child plans to bring money please place it in an envelope so they won’t lose it. Those who wish to buy later in the week will be allowed to go as needed.
- Field Trip on Wednesday, May 18th. More information to come home on what they will need to bring with them.
Progress reports will come home, Friday, May 13th. Please check parent portal for any questions or concerns you may have with grades. Remember to be checking all graded papers and those below a 70 can be returned as a redo. Last day for any redo papers will be, Wednesday, May 25th.
I hope you have a wonderful and relaxing weekend! Don’t forget to check the SMORE under “classroom news” to view the Third Grade Tracks in its entirety.
Cordially,
Mrs. Hidalgo
