I will be entering my 27th year of teaching!  This year I will be teaching 5th Grade Reading and Language Arts. I enjoy  teaching and learning along with my students.  This year will look quite different, beginning learning through a virtual way!  I look forward to getting to know each of you as we grow together through our 5th grade journey!

I moved to Texas in 1993 to student teach in the Northside ISD.  I taught in Northside for 7 years before moving to North East in 2000. I have taught first, second, third, fourth, and fifth grades.  I received my master’s degree in Education Administration in 2010.

My husband, David and I have two daughters, Mikaela  and Miranda.  Mikaela will be a sophomore at  Texas Tech University!  Miranda will be a junior this year!
